About Our Practice

Aloha! Welcome to Wellness OBGYN. Located in the center of Honolulu at the Ala Moana Building. Our goal is to help you achieve wellness by being a partner in your health from adolescence to adulthood, maternity and menopause. Understanding the natural physiologic changes that occur throughout life can empower your pursuit of good health.


With patient-centered care and shared decision making, we want you to feel comfortable with your treatment plan. In today’s world, patients want to be in control of their own health. Please allow us to guide you to wellness.

Meet Dr. Cheryl Twu

Cheryl Twu, DO FACOOG, is a Board Certified OBGYN with over 17 years of experience. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and received a Masters degree in Eastern Medicine and Acupuncture at Samra University in Los Angeles. She went to Medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California and completed OBGYN residency training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA. She is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She is trained in minimally invasive surgery, including Da Vinci Robotic-assisted surgeries.


Dr. Twu has received 4.9 out of 5 stars from Verified Patient Reviews from the National Provider Scorecard Database. She has been named a Top Doctor every year since 2011. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. 

As an osteopath, she believes in a holistic approach to healing and practices osteopathic manipulative medicine. She enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family.

This was my first visit to this doctor, a referral from my retiring GYN. She was wonderful! She answered some questions I had. Updated me on current recommendations for various tests. Took interest in what I told her about my past history. Most importantly, she did not rush through my appt.! So, we had the opportunity to get to know each other and form the basis for a trusting relationship. This is the key to good patient care!!!
